Safety First. Always.

Luxury without limits, Safety without compromise

Safety aboard MOKA is never compromised. We are fully committed to the highest standards of maritime safety, with a professional crew that is not only experienced but continuously trained to respond confidently and effectively to a wide range of emergency situations. From fire prevention to medical care, our procedures are robust, rehearsed, and regularly refined.

Fire Safety

Fire safety is a critical component of life at sea. The crew onboard MOKA are fully trained in fire prevention and emergency response. Regular training sessions ensure that every team member is familiar with fire detection systems, extinguishing equipment, evacuation procedures, and coordinated response techniques. Their preparedness ensures that in the unlikely event of a fire, swift and decisive action can be taken to protect everyone onboard.

Man Overboard

Should a person fall overboard, the response must be immediate, precise, and well-coordinated. MOKA’s crew are well-versed in recovery procedures, having undergone extensive training in lookout, alert, and retrieval techniques. Using advanced safety equipment and teamwork, they are capable of conducting efficient and safe recoveries in a variety of sea conditions.

Helicopter Rescue

In rare situations where evacuation by air may be required, MOKA is fully prepared to support helicopter operations. The crew are trained in all aspects of aerial rescue coordination, from establishing a secure landing zone to managing winch operations. Their ongoing training ensures seamless cooperation with rescue services, even under pressure.

Medical Emergency

Medical situations require calm, capable intervention. MOKA’s crew are trained in providing first aid and managing urgent situations with confidence and clarity. From stabilising injuries to coordinating further assistance, they are prepared to respond swiftly and effectively when it matters most.

Towing Operations

Practising how to be safely towed is an essential part of seamanship, especially for long-range vessels like MOKA. The crew undergoes regular training to ensure they are fully prepared to coordinate a tow, whether due to mechanical issues or other unforeseen circumstances. From securing lines to communicating clearly with assisting vessels, the team is well-versed in the procedures needed to ensure a stable and controlled towing operation, prioritising the safety of all onboard.

In Partnership with Salvamento Marítimo

We extend our sincere thanks to Salvamento Marítimo for their invaluable partnership during our recent training exercises. Their support and professionalism allowed the MOKA crew to train at the highest level, replicating real-world emergency scenarios with precision and realism. This collaboration not only enhanced our operational readiness but also reinforced our shared commitment to safety at sea.
